Expedition Leader Course

 

Do you want to lead in the Mountians at some point in the future? Then get a head start!

This course will provide a head-start for those looking at pursuing the goal of becoming a leader.

If you are looking at doing the Mountain Leader course or something similar or just want to be able to take your family and friends out in more interesting places but don’t feel you have enough knowledge or confidence yet then we can help you!!

This single day course will run you through the ins and outs of becoming a leader, industry knowledge, tips and tricks and all round essentials needed to do everything safely.

We will cover things such as Navigational Skills using map and compass, shelter, what to do if you get lost, group dynamics (how to control various groups of various abilities), communication and much more!!

Great course for those who want to progress in the outdoor realm!

Your instructor is ML Qualified and has vast experience leading over many continents all over the world!

Kit Needed:

  • Warm Clothing
  • Waterproofs
  • Adequate Food / Water for a full day.
  • Appropriate Footwear for being outdoors in various terrain.
