Whats Involved?

Located in the Snowdonia region of Wales lies THE most challenging route up Mount Snowdon. This adrenaline fuelled ascent will be sure to put you in touch with mother nature.

This thrilling Grade 1 scramble is one of the country’s most popular ridges – so what does it take to tackle Crib Goch?

Ask any hill walker to name you a few classic scrambles, and Crib Goch will almost certainly get a high-priority mention. Not only does this cracking stickleback ridge offer the wildest and most exciting way up Wales’ highest peak, it also scores ten out of ten on views, exposure and general scrambly fabulousness. Add to that the low technical difficulty (it’s a Grade 1, the lowest rating on the scrambling scale) and you’ve got a recipe for one of the best hands-on-rock days out in the country. The ultimate bucket list tick. – BMC (British Mountaineering Council).

Kit List:

On Person

  • Base layer (T-Shirt)
  • Light fleece
  • Walking trousers/leggings
  • Walking boots/trail trainers
  • Thick socks
In daysack (Comfortable daysack (15-25 Litres)
  • Hat/gloves
  • Waterproof jacket/trousers
  • Food (Sandwiches, plenty of high energy nutrition, e.g. slow release energy)
  • Water (2L minimum) Lucozade
  • Thick jumper/jacket
  • Sunglasses/sun-cream (optimistic)
  • Personal first aid kit (basics – blister plasters etc.)
  • personal medication e.g. asthma spray.

Your leader is ML (Mountain Leader) qualified with vast experience leading all over the world.

 

— Once booked, you will receive an email confirming your place and you will subsequently be put down on our registration system for the event, so that when you turn up on the day at the location specified below, we will have your name down on our list ready to be ticked off. You do not need to bring any confirmation of your booking as its all on our system!
