Whats Involved?
SSS – Snowdon Sunrise Summit!
Summit the famous welsh peak at night to catch the early morning sunrise at 1000m above sea level. The sunrise up there is truly incredible. See the pictures below.
It will consist of beginning the walk in the early hours of the morning to reach the summit before sunrise, so you can see whole process start to finish. The route will be along the famous PYG track which has notorious views.
Snowdon is highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands standing at exactly 1085m / 3559ft. 360 degree panoramic views of the surrounding Snowdonia region is a sight to be seen, even more so at dawn. Not one to be missed!
Kit you will need:
- Waterproofs
- Sufficient Food / Water
- Warm Clothing (inc. Base Layers)
- Appropriate footwear (i.e. boots or fell running shoes)
- Headtorch (For the ascent)
