The Borrowdale 10 Challenge is a unique, rewarding challenge.
The Challenge is designed to put your physical endurance and mental strength to the test as we climb ten of Borrowdale’s greatest, tallest and most spectacular mountains, including England’s Highest, Scafell Pike.
“glorious views, that to the north being of unsurpassed beauty” – Wainwright
The Peaks include:
– Base Brown (646m or 2419ft)
– Green Gable (801m or 2628ft)
– Great Gable (899m or 2949ft)
– Lingmell (800m or 2625ft)
– Scafell Pike (978m or 3209ft)
– Broad Crag (930m or 3069ft)
– Ill Crag (935m or 3085ft)
– Great End (910m or 2986ft)
– Allen Crags (785m or 2575ft)
– Glaramara (783m or 2569ft)
The challenge is designed to be tough, to be strenuous but that’s what we need to grow, physically and mentally. This is a great follow on event from the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge and great training for even tougher events such as the 24 Peaks Challenge. So come on, get your boots on and test yourselves!
Once completed you will truly feel like the KOM – King of the Mountain.
Do you want to be the KOM? if so, you’ve got to beat the mountain.
