Whats Involved?
A big walk where we attempt to climb the three highest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales! This is undoubtedly the classic walk in the Yorkshire Dales. The walk is approximately 23 miles in length with an elevation gain of over 1000m. Starting at Horton in Ribblesdale, the walk takes you on a superb circular of the hills. It is always fulfilling! Some people aim to complete this challenging trip in 12 hours. If that’s what you’d like to do we’ll be with you all the way.
Three Peaks
If you complete the walk within 12 hours you can join the coveted “Three Peaks of Yorkshire Club”, which was set up by Peter and Joyce Bayes. To be eligible for membership, you must book out and book in again at the Pen-y-ghent Café in Horton in Ribblesdale using the antique clocking machine. On successful completion you will be a member of the club and be eligible to wear a Three Peaks badge and tie (available to buy in the Cafe).
